Subject: Who´s excited for conference! Oh.. Pick me! I am!
Hello everybody!
We went to the teleférico today! If I have time I´ll attatch some pictures. It´s basically a big ski lift that goes up this hill in our area right in front of the sea. I´ve been in this city for 9 months so I figured that today might have been my last chance to ride it before getting transfered. We went with Elder Burton and Elder R. Oliveira.
We only got one investigator to church this last Sunday: Oswaldo. But also in attendence were 17 recent converts and also 7 inactives that we had taught and brought back to church. Oswaldo is doing good. He just needs a little more confidence. He´s 18 years old and has to make an important decision to choose between his friends and the wonderful spirit that he´s been feeling.
João Paulo got the priesthood finally! We baptized him 3 months ago and he´s been completely active but the bishopric has just so much to do that they just got around to his interview last week.
Elder Karr and I have been way busy. We went on 4 splits last week with other missionaries in the zone and another split with members. On top of that I did 2 baptismal interviews and we had to organize interviews with President for the zone. The zone has really picked up these last few weeks and we're on track to reach our baptismal goal this transfer.
